As shotWarm paper

One frame of a real talk, as shot and with a punch line drawn by the editor in Warm paper: Inter Bold, with the stressed words set in Instrument Serif italic and coloured with the accent, lightened to 42% so they read over the picture. Slide to compare. Every word on it was said in the talk.

When to use it

Use it when Clean is close but its off-white reads cold beside your room: the ground moves to a warmer paper, and the panels with it. Words come up a tenth of a second apart, a touch slower than Clean, which suits a talk delivered at an easy pace, a story about a client, or a reflective video where the words should not race the voice.

Who it suits

It suits a creator who records in a warm room, under lamps or beside wood, and wants the cards to belong to that room rather than to a white studio. A deep teal marks the stressed words, on the cards and, lightened, over your video, which keeps the warm paper from turning the whole look orange or brown.

What it changes

Warm paper starts from Clean and sets its colours and how fast words come up. Whatever it leaves alone is Clean's.

Its cards are built as Clean builds them: lists on a panel beside you, chapters as a numbered tile.
