Sign in with Google and the editor opens. Your projects, your footage library and what Hound learns about how you cut are kept with your account, on any computer you sign in on. Trying it is free, with no card.
Sign in with your Google account. Takehound never sees your Google password.
With Google, Takehound keeps the id Google gives your account, its email address and the name on it, as the privacy page says.
Your account
You can add or remove a way in for 10 minutes after signing in. After that, sign out and sign in again first. Sign out only if a way in listed here still works for you: nothing else opens this account.
Add another Google account as a way in:
Your projects
None yet. Make a cut in the app and open it in the studio while you are signed in.
Cuts you make in the editor are kept with this account too. Open the editor to see them.
Your footage logs
None yet. Choose a footage folder in the app while you are signed in, and its log is kept here.
What an account stores
A random id, a name if the account has one, the id Google gives your Google account and its email address, your projects, your footage logs (the description of each shot and your file names) and, while Takehound's footage storage is on, the video files in your footage library. This account was made with a passkey, so it also keeps the public half of each passkey listed above until you remove it. The privacy page has the rest.
